Astrolabe by Cornelio Vincx

This is the second astrolabe donated to Pope Leo XIII by Father Vincenzo Gisoldi in 1889. This is the smallest (with a diameter of 240 mm and a thickness of 11 mm) and has three layers. It was made by Cornelio Vincx, of Naples, in 1616.
